Browser and mobile help
Try the smallest relevant change first. You can usually check controls or graphics without deleting the browser data that holds your best score.
The game has not loaded yet
The game loads automatically at the top of the homepage. Wait for its loading screen to finish, then choose Start game in the menu. If the embedded game does not load, use the full-window link below it to open the game directly.
The game prepares graphics, enemies and audio before combat. Keep the page visible while this finishes. If an error appears, note its exact message rather than refreshing repeatedly.
Black screen, WebGL unavailable or lost graphics context
- Open the full-window game in an up-to-date browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
- Check whether WebGL or hardware acceleration is disabled in your browser or device settings. A device or managed browser may limit graphics access.
- Close other demanding tabs or apps and reload the game page once.
- If a graphics context is lost, reload to create a fresh one. An unfinished run will restart, but existing local settings and best score remain unless site data is cleared.
Grimvector requires JavaScript and WebGL. A browser that blocks either cannot run the game, although the static guides remain readable.
The mouse moves out of the game
Click the game or Start game to request pointer capture. Once captured, mouse movement turns the view without stopping at the browser edge. Esc releases the pointer and lets you use the page or menu again.
Some embedded browsers or device policies block pointer lock. Open the game in a regular browser tab using the full-window link and click it again. The game shows a pointer-lock warning when its request is blocked.
Touch controls feel crowded
Use landscape orientation and open the game in its own window. In Settings, change button size between 90% and 120% and adjust touch sensitivity between 0.2 and 3. Test a small change before changing another setting.
The left stick controls movement. Drag the right side to aim, and use the action buttons for jumping, dashing and firing. Use only appears when an item is within reach and aimed at. A scope button only works after buying a scope for the carbine or LMG.
Fullscreen is unavailable
Use the game's ⛶ button if your browser supports fullscreen. Some phone browsers restrict the fullscreen API; the full-window link still removes the surrounding website layout. Rotating the device to landscape can provide more space even without true fullscreen.
On desktop, use Esc to leave pointer capture or fullscreen before interacting with the surrounding website.
The game stutters or the device heats up
In Settings, select a frame limit that the device can maintain. The available limits are 30, 60, 90 and 120 frames per second, plus unlimited. Begin with 30 or 60 on a constrained device. A frame limit is a cap, not a guarantee that the device reaches it.
Close heavy background tabs and use the full-window game. If the device is already hot, give it time to cool before trying a longer run. Keep the automatic wall-running setting separate from performance testing so that movement changes do not obscure the result.
No sound
Use Start game first, because browsers generally need a user gesture before audio starts. Check the game's Sound ON/OFF button, the browser tab's mute state and the device volume. Leaving and returning to a tab may also require a new click.
My purchases or score disappeared
Purchased weapons, forge rolls and campaign progress belong to the current run. They are not saved when you close or restart the game. Best score and settings are stored locally under this site's browser data.
Private browsing, blocked storage, clearing site data or using another browser or device can remove or hide those saved values. Read the privacy policy before clearing storage. There is no account-based score recovery.
A shop item will not buy
Wait until the wave is cleared and the shutter has opened. Move close, aim at the display and check the shown price or blocked-purchase message. You need to own the matching gun before buying ammunition or a scope, and reserves or grenades may already be at their limits.
The forge replaces the bonuses on your equipped weapon. A lower result is possible and does not mean the purchase failed. The shop guide lists prices and limits.
Report a reproducible problem
Email contact@grimvector.com with your browser and version, device, the page you opened, the action just before the problem and any exact error text. Include whether it happened in the embedded or full-window game. A screenshot is useful, but avoid including account information or other personal data.
