Grimvector field guide

Five bosses. Five relics.

The attack warning tells you what to solve next. Stock up during the break, then choose a route that leaves room for the next warning.

Prepare before the terminal

Every fourth campaign wave is a boss. Use the preceding shop break to refill ammunition, reload and decide where you will move when the boss lands. Leave the central pad during the descent warning: the landing can damage and push a player standing too close.

Watch the attack name and visible warning, then respond to that attack. At half health, the boss becomes enraged and attacks faster. Keep space for a second movement option when your dash is on cooldown.

Iron Gate Warden · Wave 4

Attack set: fan shot, ring shot, shockwave, triple barrage and charge.

Keep moving across the fan rather than retreating in a straight line through its center. For the ring and barrage, watch the projectiles and move toward a clear lane. Jump when the shockwave expands toward you. When Charge is warned, prepare a sideways movement or dash instead of running directly away from the boss.

Defeating the Warden unlocks Artemis Bow. It has a single-shot magazine, piercing behavior and an arrow-rain field effect when its relic trigger is ready.

Minotaur · Wave 8

Attack set: charge, shockwave, ring shot, bombardment and triple barrage.

This encounter adds marked floor circles to the charge-and-jump decisions. Leave a bombardment circle before it detonates. Avoid spending a dash simply to approach the boss; keeping it ready gives you a lateral escape from the charge. After dodging, find a firing angle with room for the next shockwave jump.

The reward is Zeus Bolt, with chaining attacks and a lightning field effect.

Cerberus · Wave 12

Attack set: triple barrage, fan shot, spiral shot, shockwave and bombardment.

Give yourself space to read the projectile lanes during the spiral. Short, deliberate changes of direction are easier to track than repeatedly circling into a marked floor hazard. Watch both the ground and the warning text so a shockwave does not catch you while concentrating on ranged fire.

The reward is Hephaestus Cannon, with blast behavior and a lava field effect.

Steel Titan · Wave 16

Attack set: laser sweep, bombardment, ring shot, triple barrage and shockwave.

The laser sweep makes cover especially useful. Move behind solid arena cover when its warning appears, while checking that your destination is not a marked bombardment circle. Use the quiet moment after a dodge to reload; the longer LMG reload is easier to manage when the beam is blocked.

The reward is Poseidon Trident, which fires three projectiles and adds a slowing tidal-wave effect.

Chronos · Wave 20

Attack set: spiral shot, laser sweep, charge, bombardment, triple barrage and fan shot.

Chronos combines projectile lanes, cover checks and sudden charges. Keep a route between two pieces of cover instead of backing into a corner. Read the next warning before committing to a reload. In the enraged phase, use shorter firing windows and preserve a dash for a charge or an unsafe floor marker.

The final reward is Chronos Cannon, with high base projectile damage and a time-rift effect. After the campaign, activate the terminal for free play with the relics unlocked in that run.

Warning reference

Relic field effects have their own cooldown. See the weapon guide for their magazines and reloads, and the movement guide to practice the dodges before a boss wave.
